"Keep the simple things simple, and the complex things possible."
That's the principle behind every research project I run — ask questions
simple enough for anyone to answer honestly, then build the systems robust
enough to hold the complexity underneath.
I'm a UX researcher and systems thinker with 9+ years of experience turning
ambiguous, high-stakes operational problems into research-backed decisions —
through stakeholder interviews, workflow mapping, and synthesis that
cross-functional teams can actually act on. I hold an M.S. in Design Thinking
& Innovation from John Brown University, with additional training in
design thinking facilitation (IBM) and user research methods (Nielsen
Norman Group).
Right now I'm leading discovery research at a Fortune 500 food company, where that
research directly secured executive buy-in for Compass, the company's #1 priority product in
FY26. Before that: SupplyPike, where research and design strategy scaled a
product to $2.8M in ARR and helped lead the company to acquisition by a
publicly traded company. I've built and governed the design system at
every company I've worked for, from the ground up. I also mentor junior
researchers and designers whenever I get the chance.
